Kullu Dussehra is the famous International Dussehra festival celebrated in October in Himachal Pradesh in northern India. The celebrations of the Kullu Dussehra festival involve music, food, dance, troupe performances, and colorful attire. The colorful decorations symbolize happiness and abundance. In 1972, Kullu Dussehra was declared an international festival. In 2016, the festival made its way to the Guinness World Record for bringing together more than 9,000 dancers for the largest voluntary folk dance performance.
